Gastroscopy and colonoscopy in Taipei
Digestive screening is one of the main reasons Canadians come to Taiwan for a checkup. Taipei clinics routinely perform a sedated gastroscopy and colonoscopy back to back in a single morning, so you are asleep for both and recover once.
Alongside the scopes you can add blood and breath tests that look at stomach-cancer risk, including the pepsinogen I/II test, which is common in East Asia but not routinely offered in North America.
